Balloons Over Epineux

The French National Ballooning championships were held at Sable and so nearly every morning and evening we were treated to the sight of dozens of montgolfiers flying past.  There was one evening however when the wind dropped suddenly and as the balloons floated over the ridge from the village they started to drop quickly and a large number ended up crashing down in the fields on our neighbours farm.
