February half term saw Edward spending the week alone at le Domaine…. David had got teaching commitments in London. Spring bulbs were showing off along with the odd iris!

Lockdown! As with everyone in the world Spring 2020 took a sideways step! All but essential travel to and from France meant that the garden would be left to its own devices. Luckily neighbours were able to call in to ensure all was well, harvest rhubarb and collect flowers. Photographs back to London helped to raise our spirits, if only making us realize what an enormous job we will have when we do get allowed to cross over the chanel!
